So basically I decided a completely different path than my family since I was forced to be a certain bec my friends in skul were like dat but my my neighbors were very different. I kind of always felt out of place and since I can't talk about my feeling it put me into a mess and I get extremely tense whenever a/o mentions a/t in front of my parents. Wen I'm home I deal with it on a regular basis and the atmosphere for me is extremely tense and it ends up bringing out terrible parts of my personality. My parents were actually the ones that suggested that I find another place to stay bec I won't be happy at home but it's hard technically due to transferring schools ect. I do know it'll b best for my growth to live s/w else but I really don't want to attract people's curiosity by living at s/o else close by to my house. If s/o could give me advice I'd appreciate it!!

Hey hun, firstly that seems like a really difficult situation; I wish u the best of luck with ur decison.
Personally, I suggest that you speak it over with an adult that knows u well. Expalin the entire situation to her... Because we on frunteens can only do so much!:)
Also, in term of what ppl think, I'd you feel it important to not be at home, then don't let what they think bother u!
Much hatzlocha!!!

Would other people even realize? Could you just say youre staying by X and not explain further, just say its a long story or something like that?

hey... the fact that you were able to make the choice to lead ur diff life is amazing... some ppl just convince themselves theyre crazy and stay frusturated their whole life... ummm yah its gonna be awkward living near ur fam... if there are no other options then its definitely worth it... i recently switched from a typical bais yakov school to more of a rehab/kiruv one... yeh ppl asked questions and it was awkward sometimes... but i know that if i would've just continued where i was i would've just gotten worse... its worth it to have some awkward moments to save ur future!
lemme know what u decide... gluck!
