sunday-thursday i have school and our davening goes relatively fast. to be honest, i have no idea what a word that i'm saying means, with the exception of shema and shemona esrei because i daven in hebrew. if i would spend the time during davening to read the translation of every word that i'm saying, i would be very late to shir and i would get in trouble. i also have a very busy schedule so i dont have time to learn the translations to the tefilot on my own. what should i do?

Something I found very useful for me is to stop briefly during every bracha in Shmoneh Esreh and think about how it pertains to me in my life, or add my own small tefillah there. That way, you don't have to know what every word means, but you can still have kavanah.
For example, as your read the bracha of Chonein Da'as, think about how you want to do well on a certain test. And as you read Bareach Uleinu, ask Hashem to help your parents find a job, etc...

Maybe on sunday or shabbos, you can daven with a siddur with translation. Over time you will learn the meaning of the words.
