k so ill try this one last time and see if this goes up. ive posted many stuff in the past but apparently hardly anything has gone up-dunno why!newhos so we had a yom iyun today on rochel imaynus yartzeit and they somehow tied it in to kibbud av vaam! too make a long speech short she was saying a person is machuyav in honoring ones parent unless it interfers with defying hashems torah so heres my question which i was too scared to ask the speaker-who knows wat shell think!- hypothetically speaking lets just say a child is abused or taken advantage of by a parent/adult they hve to respect where are the limits then?do they hve to respect and listen if the parent has absolutely no yirei shamayim and is confusing the child abt it??does it apply to only that thing the parent wants the child to b oiver on that he/she doesnt hve to abide or all?? i hope im being clear n actually get answered!

if the parent is abusive then its against the torah what they are doing
