hi! wow this is so much fun! its my 1st time actully posting s/t!! LOL! yaay! so does any1 know if u can wear liquid eyeliner on shabbos and yom tov if its not a pencil? i didnt learn lamed tes melachos in awhile and s/o said she used that on shabbos so i assumed u can use it but my sister was suprised at that so i dont know! my father is baruch Hashem good at these kinda things but i guess he didnt review hilchos shabbos in awhile either! maybe moderator can help! thanx tunz! i'd appreciate 2 know b4 yom tov! :-))

Well the liquid eyeliner is permanent, right? Like u need to remove it with makeup remover or soap? Then it would be assur to use on shabbos.

There are some who are mekil in certain things ( I think certain sefardi poskim, neshama if you know?), but R' Shlomo Zalman Auerbach paskened that any sort of makeup, being that its meant to color the skin, is assur to use on shabbos.

I was wondering about Shabbos makeup too; I heard a few people who say that it's allowed and a lot of people who say that you can not put any sort of makeup on on Shabbos no matter what.
